We’re counting down the days to one of our favor We’re counting down the days to one of our favorite parties of the year! 🎉 Since the very beginning of Sprouthouse, we’re proud to have worked with @southfoodways to help put on their annual Fall Symposium.

Held in Oxford, MS from October 21-22, this year’s Symposium is SFA’s culmination of their year-long exploration of barbecue. Hear from pitmasters, chefs, writers, and barbecue aficionados as they ask questions about what barbecue is, who makes it, and how the craft is changing.

You’ll also find our team at the @Tabasco Keynote Dinner supporting chef Rob McDaniel of @helenbham as he cooks contemporary Southern cuisine inspired by the restaurant’s namesake, his grandmother Helen, in honor of the South’s legendary pitmasters.

Say bonjour to the pastries you know and love by K Say bonjour to the pastries you know and love by Kristen Hall (@bakingbandits) in the all-new Bandit Pâtisserie (@banditbham) storefront, which opened today in Birmingham, AL! 🥐

The brick-and-mortar café offers masterfully crafted, authentic treats incorporating inspiration from both  traditional French pastry and the culinary South. A rotating selection of freshly baked danishes, macarons, sucrée tarts, and more can be found in the petit pâtisserie’s pastry case alongside freshly baked breads and a daily focaccia sandwich. In addition to a plethora of pastries, Bandit also offers full service espresso drinks. And don't worry, you'll still be able to catch them weekly at the @marketatpepperplace, but if you can’t wait until Saturday, pop over one day this week from 7am–2pm.
