It was an honor to watch longtime client @steveplamer12 of @theindigoroad as he shared his story today at @welcomeconference in New York City.
From experiencing homelessness and struggling with addiction as a teenager to leading a hospitality group that employs over 1,500 people across seven states, Steve firmly believes that the restaurant industry saved his life.
Steve founded Ben’s Friends with fellow industry veteran Mickey Bakst to provide support for those who work in the hospitality industry and struggle with substance abuse. We know his powerful story, along with the story of how Ben’s Friends came to be, will impact the thousands of Welcome Conference guests who heard Steve speak today and will carry those stories home to their friends and colleagues.

Our team has spent months planning an epic 18-stop (!!) book tour for @carochambers’ new cookbook, “What to Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking”. Last night was the Charleston stop and we were thrilled to welcome Caro and more than 200 of her friends and fans to @thedewberrycharleston, where they enjoyed small bites inspired by her recipes, cocktails, conversation with fellow entrepreneurs and moms @jaimiedewberry and @mollyfienning, and lots of photos, of course.
